Most lumber, wood furniture, pallets, branches and clean (dirt free) stumps can be recycled. These items can be deposited at the wood waste pile south of the transfer station building. This material is recycled by being chipped and shipped out to be used by many sources, including as fuel to produce electricity. Pine needles, leaves and other yard debris do not go into the wood pile.
