Kootenai County Adult Misdemeanor Probation provides supervised probation for clients who have been sentenced to serve probation through the First District Court. Our mission is to help reduce incarceration rates and mitigate the risks for re-offense by directing and assisting probationers in personal and community adjustment. The number of probationers has continued to increase throughout the fiscal year. For the first time ever, we reached over 1,100 active cases in 2022.
